The installation Decorporation invites the viewer to wear a virtual reality headset connected to two stereoscopic cameras. During the experiment, these cameras will gradually move away from the viewer, allowing him to see himself from the outside.
Decorporation is inspired by the "astral travel" in Chinese meditation, which is the experience of dissociation from the physical body in order to freely explore the surrounding space.
